Ride – Race – Realise

JAFAKIDS Junior MTB Academy focuses on developing mountain bike riders aged between 11-19 years, beginner or expert, boys, and girls, within the greater Auckland region.

The focus is on fun and skills training. It’s about trail riding, learning to ride the natural obstacles you find on single track and getting fit to enjoy the trail networks in our forests.

JAFAKIDS are coached on a weekly basis throughout the year by our Head Coach, Lead Coaches and a crew of volunteer coaches. Rides are held in Woodhill or Riverhead forests, in groups on a Wednesday night. There are a number of riding groups of varying skills and capability, each aimed at different development levels and an appropriate balance of fun, skills development, and racing.

Originally set-up in 2010, JAFAKIDS has grown significantly since then and is now an incorporated club.

The annual muster is held in October at Woodhill, with the date to be confirmed via our Facebook page.
